No dealing with the cashiers mouth the customer service is usually really good but the cashier today wanted to start in with her well register 4 is open ok and I can go stand 10 people back in line four or stay 2nd in line or take my business elsewhere which I did

The store was very clean, very stopped. It seemed like there was no empty holes on the shelves. Everything seemed like it was front feasting like how store should live. My only problem was it seemed like it's dated. You know there's not too many food lines around. Well, now, where I'm at In Arlington, there's no who lions, but yeah, I'm afraid to be a food line. I know that location's been there for years, because my family owns property at the beach, and we always go into that shop in the center and every time I come down here, they go to the beach, I go into that shopping center to the food line. It just seems kind of day that everyone was really nice, like far as customer service. Was it just seems, slow relaxed? I need too much to do because I guess we're down in Colonial Beach. I don't know so yeah, I guess that's this high. It is down that way. Everything is a little bit slower. I don't know if you dare. I went to go to the beach

Had everything I needed, the lines were long but cashiers were patient and friendly.

Being used to going to chain grocery stores I kinda expected this to be similar but maybe lacking in a few things but not everything. Checking out looked hellaciously long, which is why we went nextdoor to the Walgreens. I was able to get my specific eye care product that wasn't expired. However Walgreens did have a bottle of cleaning eye care liquid that was going to expire next month. But did have something better just behind it. I cannot fault Food Lion too much for expired care products but expired food is a completely different scenario and dangerous to those who don't actually check out the label It's a shame when I look at the previous reviews it looks like this was a good place at one time. But unfortunately since I'm from an area where there are multiple stores in competition for your shopping cart goods, they tend to be forced to make sure you don't have expired food etc

I've had a few instances of expired food being purchased. One was a bag of molding potatoes that somehow made it through checkout when a friend went shopping for dinner. Every carton of food lion brand eggs I have ever gotten has had partially formed embryos in the eggs. Every single one. I always buy better brands of eggs or get them locally sourced because food lion gets bad mass raised chicken eggs with poor quality. It makes me lose my appetite to see eggs crack open and awhite sack comes out with it. I would avoidshopping at food lion if Hall's wasnt so expensive and Walmart wasnt so far away.
