Commissary

The commissary click to go app and website deletes coupons. So even though you have taken the time to attach coupons to your items, the coupons fall off the order, making you pay full price for items that have valid coupons. Complaints are not getting through, they keep passing the buck. I'm going to complain to the Inspector General.

This is a full sized commissary compared to naval station norfolk. This means it has a larger and more varied item selection. Lots of parking and a small restroom is available. It's a stand alone structure so there are no other services available outside the commissary.

Mostly great prices on everything. Example, I get my Golden delicious (loose) there for $1.19 per lb vs off base $1.99 + per lb, Breyers Ice cream $3.69 vs $4.67 to $5.99 off base (plus they have an array of flavors that you do not find everywhere). Just keep in Mind that the Commissary has a surcharge of 5% added to the bill while the food tax off base is 1% in Virginia (unless it's prepared food). I ❤️ my commissary.

My experience with Click2Go at the commissary was terrible. I was not informed on some items in my cart was out of stock. It took 7 minutes when I called 3 times for them to answer. I had to go inside the store to let them know I was picking my items up. This was the first and last time for me using the Click 2go.They need allot improvements. I prefer to go inside the store.

Great place to shop,as I just moved to the neighborhood. Friendly Staff. Helpful when needed.😀

Big. The commissary workers I asked for assistance were extremely helpful and nice. I would definitely recommend this commissary. One thing I didn’t care for was the way the produce area is set up - maybe I’m just not used to it.

I love shopping the commissary. The isles are large and the layout is easy to navigate. Creating my own hot sauce from Thai chili peppers I found at the commissary.

NAS Oceana commissary is a good grocery store lighting is a little bit dark and the description on Hours of operation is vague for holidays. Just say if you’re open or not, times open. Update: CLOSED NEW YEARS DAY 2026
