Best one in the king George/ colonial beach area that I can find Clean, hardly any broken machines this time and not too busy on Weekdays @ lunchtime $5-7 for the larger washing machines 3.25 for the small ones I’m pleased

I’ve giving this establishment a month to see if there would be any maintenance and hard cleaning of these machines. The floor is very clean, however, the machines have not been cleaned. Oh maybe wiped down on the face but the doors, seals, soap detergent and softener containers in these machines are not kept up and are truly disgusting. I know this place makes enough money for routine maintenance but it’s simply not done. I will go the extra miles to Montross where the laundromat has employees on site, CLEAN machines and indeed it cost less to use them. If you clean up your act I assume your clients who don’t have the option to travel will be grateful.

I used this laundromat two weeks ago and I do NOT recommend this place. I used the largest washer (the ones facing the door as soon as you enter) to wash two small size comforters. When the wash cycle was over one of my comforters were completely dry on one half of it. Trust me it wasn't that I over filled the washer. There was still plenty of room left in it. Also, the place is very dirty. The washers and the bathroom look like they never get cleaned. It's disgusting.

A small older laundromat. Clean and safe. I feel protected and comfortable as I waited for my laundry to finish. I'm at the owners and they are very protective of their customers there's no loitering allowed they make sure they keep it clean and friendly I recommend this good old-fashioned laundromat.

This place is so disgusting, I cringe every time I have to use it. Messy with piles of clothes that sit there for weeks at least. Mildewy washers, and dryers with unidentifiable crud melted in each and every one of them. The dryers take forever to get clothes dry. I stepped into the restroom and walked right back out. Filthy with no toilet paper, no hand soap, no paper towels or hand dryer. Literally just a sink and a toilet, neither of which I would touch. The front door push-bar is broken and I cut my finger on sharp exposed metal. Do yourself a favor and drive 30 minutes down to Montross. Much cleaner and cheaper. I keep saying I would rather wear dirty clothes than "wash" them at Hall's, but since it's the only place nearby, sometimes I don't have any other option.

I have only been to this laundromat once and it was to wash all of my dogs, washable pee pads. However, if I was in a pickle in my washing machine broke down, I would rather use one of those old scrub boards like they did in the old days to wash my laundry, and sit outside and fill up a bucket, then bring my clothes to this laundromat it’s very dirty. There’s nothing clean about it. It’s not well-maintained at all. I only use it for that one purpose and one purpose only it’s a shame because people go there to clean their clothing how they think or how they even feel that they’re clothing is clean when it comes out of the wash or out of the dryer is beyond me, but whoever is running or doing the upkeep on this place needs to Get to get especially for the prices you have to pay to do laundry there

There is no one to clean the place so the floors and the outside of the machines were really dirty. The inside of the machines were really dirty and the one I had to use was covered in hair from where it hadn't been cleaned so I had to clean it before I could even use it which is crazy because I shouldn't have to clean the washing machine just so I can use it. The thing to get dryer sheets and detergent and stuff out of was out of order and has been for at least 2-3 weeks. The bathroom was extremely dirty, I've seen truck stop bathrooms cleaner than that and that's saying something because those bathrooms are normally disgusting. There was absolutely no toilet paper, paper towels, or soap in the bathroom at all. The place was pretty bad but unfortunately I don't know of any other laundromats near King George so unfortunately I don't have a choice but to use this one because my blanket is to big to fit in my washing machine sadly.

Unfortunately, there are more often than not, numberous broken machines at this site. Additionally, one change machine is always out of order and today I could not get soap from the soap dispenser, and there is never an attendant to give you your money back if you lose it in this machine, which I did. Frustrated, and unable to do my laundry, I left. If this laundry is owned by Hall's Grocery, (which is always run impeccably,) I suggest paying a little more attention to your red-haired step-child, Hall's Laundry at the back edge of the parking lot... 😉
