King George Veterinary Clinic

I know this place is closing it’s doors but I wanted to share my experience here. I brought my 12yr old GSD here end of life care. The vet was Dr Niznik, and while the whole ordeal was unpleasant because of the circumstances, he was kind, thoughtful and respectful. The following week the office had even sent a sympathy card which was personal and very kind.

We switched out two GSD’s over to KG Veterinary clinic and I’m so glad we did. They receive one on one care and the doc actually knows my dogs. Previously at another vet they saw whatever Doc was available. The staff always pushed upselling, surgery, tests etc.. Here they are cared for and treatment is administered when needed not as a chance to charge more. I highly recommend KG vet clinic.

I want to thank KGVC for seeing me on short noticed when I needed to put my 10 1/2 year old great dane down. They were very compassionate and professional especially with me never seeing them before this. The front desk lady was very gracious with my husband and I as we took care of the business side before she brought us in to see the doctor too. Thank you again!

Been a patient for a few years when our old vet all of a sudden closed up shop with no replacement. King George Veterinary Clinic took us in and has cared for us ever since. They were so supportive when our senior Great Pyrenees male passed as he was the first dog we have lost. They have provided amazing education and pro tips along the way (THANKS MARIE). They do their absolute best to best to accommodate your schedule to get your pets seen quickly. I want to say thank you to the ENTIRE practice, you are amazing.

If you’re reading this DO NOT COME HERE. The staff is extremely rude and do not seem to care for your furry friend at all. They try to run tests that are not needed. They also do not inform you before running tests. They come back after they have racked up your bill without your permission. Adding to that they have a very rude and condescending doctor. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE for your own sanity. Would give a 0 star review if possible.

I was here a few months ago but recently Dr. Niznac came back due to loosing a vetenarian. He examined my dog and he explained everything to me, even showed me the difference. His wife sat and talked to me on a personal level and honest to God I was extremely impressed! I honestly feel that they were sent from God himself. This is no joke, I was a dog groomer fairytails pet grooming in king George Va. I rescued many dogs that no one wanted so I had many vet visits. I’m an old lady now down to my very last dog, the one dog I’ve had since the beginning . This is my child, my baby! I’ve been to many vets trying to get honest opinions, and for once I feel I made the right choice. May god bless these people, thank you Dr Niznac and his wife. I’m very sorry I was so untrusting but after soooo many vets and soooo many letdowns, I feel Faith is finally in the right hands. Thank you and I truly am very sorry I was just at my ropes end. She’s my baby. Thank you❤️ I highly recommend king George vet clinic and am truly thankful and grateful that my baby girl is with you all. Never will I go back or recommend anyone to go there, everyone besides the receptionist is very rude, not animal friendly, no compassion at all, very rough with my elderly sick cat, their behavior with my daughter, our cat and myself was disgusting. I will say the Doctor was a better than the 2 women in the back, they shouldn't work with animals, it showed they are there for the $ and not because they love to work with our fur babies.

I'm so glad we were able to find this vet clinic nearby. My dog was a new patient here and they were able to get him in quickly to be seen for an ear infection. Everyone we interacted with was very kind, understanding, and gentle with my anxious dog.
